MB Trophy

The industry-native operating system for the world's most prestigious award shows — built on the platform your nominees, jurors, and audiences already use.

The Invitation

Your show deserves
the infrastructure
it always lacked.

For decades, award shows have done extraordinary cultural work with ordinary spreadsheets, scattered inboxes, and trust-on-faith voting. The result is a sector where the ceremony is world-class — and the operations behind it remain artisanal.

MB Trophy changes that. It is a purpose-built application installed directly inside ModelBoard — the industry's professional network — and it brings every moving part of your award show into one auditable, beautiful, embargo-protected system: self-nominations, peer voting, public voting, weighted calculation, ceremony production, NFT-backed crests, and a permanent historical archive.

Built by the Team at ModelBoard. Available exclusively to verified Award Show organizations through the MB App Store. Restricted by design — because credibility, in this industry, is everything.

"The Oscars run on infrastructure. So does Cannes. So does the Met Gala. The question is no longer whether your show will run on infrastructure — but whether it will run on infrastructure that was actually built for you."

— Product Thesis, MB Trophy

What MB Trophy Is

One application.
The entire
award cycle.

MB Trophy is a native MB App Store application that turns your ModelBoard Business Page into the operational headquarters for your entire award show — from the day submissions open to the moment the final NFT crest lands on the winner's profile.

01

Restricted by Design

Installation is gated. Only Business accounts manually verified as Award Shows by ModelBoard Administrators can install MB Trophy. This single boundary is what makes every crest issued downstream actually mean something.

02

Native, Not Glued On

MB Trophy doesn't sit beside ModelBoard. It lives inside it. Your nominees, jurors, and laureates are already there. Their identities are already verified. Their profiles already exist. You inherit the network, instantly.

03

End-to-End, Not End-to-Maybe

Submissions, jury selection, peer voting, public voting, external vote import, weighted calculation, embargo, ceremony production, NFT minting, social distribution, archive. One application. Zero stitching.

Built around two surfaces

MB Trophy deploys on two distinct surfaces that serve two distinct audiences — never confused, never mixed.

PUBLIC SURFACE

Two tabs on your Business Page

Visible to every visitor of ModelBoard. Lightweight, fast, permanent.

  • 01Awards — the live catalogue of this edition's categories. During submissions, it hosts the entry forms. During voting, it shows the nominees. After embargo lifts, it becomes the official palmarès.
  • 02Roll of Laureates — your historical archive. Every winner, every year, every category. Permanent, searchable, beautifully presented.
PRIVATE SURFACE

Dedicated Admin Page — 5 tabs

Accessible only to you and your authorized staff. Where the work actually happens.

  • 01Overview — command center, phase timeline, live metrics.
  • 02Categories & Forms — custom self-nomination form builder.
  • 03Submissions & Nominees — jury review, sorting, official selection.
  • 04Voting, Weighting & Results — three vote pools, configurable weights, embargo-protected calculation.
  • 05Roll of Laureates Management — historical archive curation.
The Three-Phase Cycle

From call to crest,
orchestrated by
the clock.

An award show is a long story told in three acts. MB Trophy automates the transitions between them, so your team can focus on editorial judgment — not on remembering to flip switches.

Phase 01 · Open
Call for Submissions
Self-nomination forms — designed in your admin without writing a line of code — go live on your Awards tab and on the embed on your official website. Models and Studios submit their cases. You watch the pipeline fill.
Phase 02 · Decide
Nomination & Voting
Your jury locks in the official nominees. Notifications fire automatically. Three voting channels open in parallel: industry peers (in-platform, authenticated), the public (via your website embed), and external votes (industry panels, press surveys, imported manually).
Phase 03 · Reveal
Awarding & Embargo
Voting closes. Results are sealed cryptographically. Twenty-four hours before your ceremony, the embargo lifts internally — but only inside your admin, only for production. At T-zero, the full public reveal cascades: profiles, crests, social, archive — all at once.
· · ◆ · ·
The Weighted Vote

Three voices.
Your dial. Your
signature.

Some prizes are decided by the industry. Some by the public. Some by both. MB Trophy lets you tune the weighting per category — and lock those weights the instant voting opens, so they cannot be quietly adjusted to influence a result you can already see.

EXAMPLE · "BEST PERFORMER OF THE YEAR"
Industry Peers — authenticated ModelBoard voters
60%
Verified professionals. Native widget on each nominee's profile. One vote per voter. Affiliation rules respected.
Public Vote — from your official website embed
30%
Anti-fraud signed, rate-limited, fingerprinted. Your audience participates without leaving your brand.
External Imported — press panel, industry academy
10%
Manually imported by your staff with optional supporting documentation. Audit-trailed. Locked at vote close.

For your Lifetime Achievement prize? Set peers to 100%. For a People's Choice category? Set public to 100%. For your headline prize? Mix and document the formula in the published palmarès. Your weighting is your editorial signature — and MB Trophy is the first tool that treats it as such.

"A prize is only as credible as the formula behind it. We make the formula visible, configurable, and immutable once voting begins."

The Embargo Protocol

A ceremony
needs a secret.
So does ours.

Every great award show depends on the gap between what is known and what is announced. MB Trophy treats that gap as a first-class cryptographic primitive — not as a polite agreement among staff.

The Two-Tier Protocol

Internal at T-24h.
Public at T-zero.

Results are sealed the moment voting closes. No one — not your staff, nor our developers, not even ModelBoard administrators — can decrypt them ahead of schedule. Twenty-four hours before your ceremony, the system lifts the embargo for one purpose only: your production team needs to write the script, prepare the envelopes, brief the presenters. Inside the admin. Tab 4 only. Watermarked exports. Every single read traced and logged.

At the exact instant the ceremony ends, the public embargo lifts. The cascade fires in milliseconds: notifications to winners, NFT crests minted, profiles updated, Roll of Laureates expanded, social visuals generated. The numerical reveal lands at the same beat as the physical one.

T-CLOSE
Voting Closes
Results sealed under AES-256-GCM. No one holds the key.
T-24H
Internal Reveal
Admin Tab 4 unlocks. Production team only. Audited reads.
T-ZERO
Public Cascade
Profiles, crests, archive, socials. All at once. All correct.

The default 24-hour internal window is the industry standard — long enough to print envelopes and brief presenters, short enough to keep secrets actually secret. For multi-time-zone productions, the window is configurable between 6 and 72 hours.

The Crests

A prize that
cannot be faked,
lost, or denied.

★ Edition 2026 ★
Best
Performer
MB Trophy

Each Award Category in MB Trophy has its own Crest — a uniquely designed visual emblem. When a laureate is declared, that Crest is minted as a Non-Fungible Token on a supported blockchain.

The crest is then published in the Industry Recognition section of the laureate's ModelBoard profile — permanently, verifiably, displayed alongside every other award they've ever received from any MB Trophy-powered show.

It is, for the first time in this industry, a recognition that survives platform changes, agency moves, and the passage of time. A career, certified.

What this means for your show

Permanent prestige

Your laureates carry your show's name on their profile forever. Every casting director, every press writer, every fan who visits their page sees your crest. Your show becomes part of their professional identity — not a press release that fades in 48 hours.

Verifiable on-chain

No one can fake an MB Trophy crest. Each one points to an immutable record tied to your verified Business Page. Disputes become impossible. Provenance becomes effortless. Your prize gains the same kind of trust certification that fine art and luxury watches rely on.

The Roll of Laureates

Your history,
finally a website
you control.

Most award shows have a Wikipedia page that lists their winners — incomplete, error-prone, and edited by strangers. MB Trophy gives you something better: your own canonical historical archive, published as the second tab on your Business Page, organized by year and by category, including the categories that existed before your show evolved.

Every year, every category

From the editions MB Trophy operates today to the ones you held in 2003 — entered manually through the Add Past Winner modal. Even categories that no longer exist get their own retired-but-honored section.

Laureates not on ModelBoard?

Type their name as free text. Upload their photo. The entry lives in your archive as a tribute, while ModelBoard-verified laureates link to live profiles. The system distinguishes both, visually and structurally.

One source of truth

When a journalist needs to verify who won Best Performer in 2019, they don't ask three different Twitter accounts. They open your Roll of Laureates. It loads instantly, looks gorgeous, and is canonically yours.

"The Roll of Laureates is the longest-lasting marketing asset your show will ever own. Every editorial mention, every retrospective, every thirty-year-anniversary article will eventually need to link to it. Better that it be yours."

For Your Show, Your Site, Your Audience

Inside ModelBoard.
And everywhere
you already live.

MB Trophy is native to ModelBoard — but your show's audience doesn't only live on ModelBoard. So MB Trophy generates polished embed widgets you can drop onto your official website with a single line of code.

→ Submission embed

Your custom self-nomination forms, rendered on your own domain. Candidates submit without ever leaving your site. Their entries land directly in your MB Trophy admin.

→ Public voting embed

A trusted, anti-fraud voting widget — branded to match your site, locked to your domains, signed with rotation keys. Your audience votes where your audience already is.

→ Live palmarès display

After embargo lifts, embed the official results on your homepage. The widget updates the moment the embargo cascade fires — no manual refresh, no copy-paste.

→ Multilingual, mobile, accessible

All embeds and tabs honor WCAG 2.1 AA. Mobile-first responsive design. Localized into your audience's language with i18n support out of the box.

Before & After

The way it works
today.
The way it should.

Every Award Show executive we've spoken to has the same scar tissue: scattered tools, spreadsheets that someone forgot to update, email threads that get lost, voting controversies that never quite go away, and a archive that lives in three different places. Here's what changes.
